Das »SEEN-Around the World Symposium« reiste in drei Tagen um den Globus, um mit Live-Vorträgen, Podiumsdiskussionen und aufgezeichneten Interviews die typografische Arbeit von Frauen und nicht-binären Menschen zu feiern. In der einladenden Atmosphäre von LUX Pavillon erhielten wir sehr persönliche Einblicke in die Projekte und das Berufsleben der 32 internationalen Designerinnen.
Die positive Resonanz und rege Beteiligung sowohl vor Ort als auch im Livestream zeugen von dem weltweiten Interesse am Thema. Dank des hybriden Formats konnten sich Zuschauer und Designerinnen aus unterschiedlichen Disziplinen, Generationen und Nationen vernetzen und gegenseitig inspirieren. Genau diesen Transfer und die Sichtbarkeit für die Erfolge und Herausforderungen von Grafikdesignerinnen wollen wir mit dem Projekt UN/SEEN schaffen!

WOW! WHAT A BLAST!
The »SEEN-Around the World Symposium« traveled around the globe in three days to celebrate the typographic work of women and non-binary people with live lectures, panel discussions and recorded interviews. In the welcoming atmosphere of LUX Pavillon we gained very personal insights into the projects and professional lives of the 32 international female designers.
The positive response and lively participation both on site and in the livestream are evidence of the worldwide interest in the topic. Thanks to the hybrid format, viewers and designers from different disciplines, generations and nations were able to network and inspire each other. It is exactly this transfer and visibility for the successes and challenges of female graphic designers that we want to create with the UN/SEEN project!
